A few decades ago, going to work at corporate America was the dream. Americans were flocking to colleges, finding their paths, learning about their interests, and then graduating to the real world. There they found jobs that would allow them to live comfortably with a house they owned, kids that got everything they needed and some of what they wanted, and they had savings to send their children to college and when the time was right retire and enjoy their golden years. It was a road map to a nice, successful life. That map does not exist anymore.
Recently we have seen the toppling of major American corporations that no one thought would end. This has left thousands out of work but still following the same map. They are still looking for the lifestyle they desire in corporate America. That success is only available for a lucky few.
Instead Americans need to get back to their roots. Get out of corporate America, and know that they come from sturdy stock. Almost every one of us comes from a family of immigrants who worked the farm, built a store, or opened some other place of business. They worked hard to make it successful. America needs to discover her entrepreneurial spirit once again.
Luckily for Americans today, we have tools that will make getting out of corporate America easier than starting from scratch like our ancestors. One tool is the Internet. Granted there are many of us that see this as a toy or a distraction, but first it was a tool and remains a tool for businesses. The internet allows us instant communication, a larger pool of potential customers, and a whole new rule book on what works and what does not.
Change your mindset, discover the entrepreneurial spirit of your ancestors of time gone by, and get out of corporate America. Sell that product or service you know everyone needs, clear out a houseful of stuff on EBay and maybe find some secret stash of valuables and get rich or even help out other businesses by affiliate marketing. No matter what your choice is, you may discover that you are happier than you ever were.
In today’s world, many are discovering the power of their entrepreneurial spirit. The fear of failure, although still rather high, seems to be diminishing. Getting out of corporate America will require folks to look into innovative and fun ways to make a living. Many have opted to go the route of the internet, and specifically, have chosen to market affiliate programs that are related to their hobbies.
